CHARACTERISTICS

With the help of an RGB-D camera integrated in the mechanical X-ray system, 3D-Cam Pilot provide a live image of what is happening in the X-ray room. It also carries a series of functions to assist the operator with radiographic acquisition.

POSITIONING

The Positioning feature is used to identify the position of the collimator and AEC chambers with respect to the patient's body.

PATIENT THICKNESS

The Patient Thickness feature measures the thickness of the patient's body, yielding a measurement in cm that the acquisition software translates into a size (or kV/mAs values). The operator can then use this to obtain the optimal exposure.

TRACKING AND AUTOCOLLIMATION*

With a known sectioned APR, the Tracking and Autocollimation function is used to assist the operator. Tracking indicates the translation necessary to situate the detector in the target position; Autocollimation indicates the collimator opening for the correct exposure.
